Angus vs. The Trailer (and other interesting finds)
Its needless to say, but trying to get 1500lbs of anything into anywhere it doesn't want to go is.... difficult. When given the option of forgoing the dentist and having the horse die from not being able to eat and fighting with him to get him into the trailer, I opted for forcing him into the trailer, regardless of the warnings of how Angus hates trailers. We did trailer him twice since we'd had him, both times to take him to Margie's place to eat her pasture down when his feet were too bad to force him to walk. He had some trepidation then, but an apple and an open escape door on the trailer helped him get in. He was also significantly more fragile and weak then.
Not so much anymore.
